What Happens When You Join for a Whole Year of Baby Music in Rotterdam?

Parents often ask: “Do we really need a whole year if our baby’s nap schedule is chaos? 9am is too early, 11 is too late…” Believe me, I’ve been there. With my daughter, sleep ruled our lives. But after months of testing, we discovered: 10:00 am is the sweet spot. Babies arrive sleepy, and then suddenly — awake, smiling, singing.

But here’s the thing: a year of classes isn’t about singing one song perfectly. It’s about what happens over time:

  • 0–1 year olds: Mostly listening, absorbing rhythms and voices. Research shows infants build language foundations simply by hearing and feeling music (Zero to Three).
  • 1–2 years old: They start vocalizing, experimenting with pitch. It’s the first step to singing.
  • 2–3 years old: The “quiet mouse” in class may suddenly grab spoons at home and bang out a perfect rhythm. That’s the magic of early music development.

And yes — at the end of the year, every child gets a real certificate. Because celebrating progress is part of the journey.
