Toddler Music & Movement 3-5. y.o

This is one of our newest classes — we first introduced it in summer 2025, and it quickly became a favorite! It’s a unique program in Rotterdam that combines music and movement, designed especially for curious toddlers.

In class, children explore:

• The difference between 4/4 and 3/4 rhythms.

• Basic note names and how they sound.

• Dynamics like loud vs. soft and how music is created.

Through playful activities, kids also practice self-regulation and focus. For example, when we play “the floor is lava” in a song, they learn when to move and when to stop. Games like Hot Potato evolve from a free-for-all in baby class into an organized passing game in toddler class, requiring more attention, turn-taking, and logic.

✨ And maybe most importantly: this is one of the very last stages where you truly get to bond with your child through music. Once they go to school, they grow so fast — and you’ll start hearing more and more: “Mama, I’ll do it myself!”
